How VARELAN uses public data.
We use external benchmarks to establish context, not to manufacture precision or disclose proprietary evaluation methods.
Population, FDI, manufacturing wage, logistics, industrial-zone and renewable-energy figures can help a visitor understand the Bangladesh investment landscape. These indicators are presented with a source and date wherever practical.
Survey samples, definitions and reporting periods vary. A national or regional average should never be assumed to represent a specific factory, site, labor market, route, project or transaction.
Client work should therefore validate the data that materially affects the decision and supplement public information with project-specific commercial, technical, legal and financial diligence.

A current figure can become stale. Material decisions should confirm the latest available data.
Read the methodology
Survey samples, currency conventions, units and index construction influence how a benchmark should be used.
Avoid false equivalence
Wages, logistics, market size and FDI statistics measure different things and should not be collapsed into a simplistic score.
Validate locally
Site-level utilities, rent, workforce, transport and project conditions require direct confirmation.
Use specialists where required
Legal, tax, engineering, financial and environmental conclusions require appropriately qualified advice.
Separate public education from proprietary work
The website intentionally does not disclose VARELAN’s internal feasibility scoring, sourcing methods, investment criteria or negotiation playbooks.
